About Toaster Central

Toaster Central just shipped off some kitchen props headed for New South Wales, Australia where filming starts in August for Baz Luhrmann's movie of The Great Gatsby, in 3-D no less, a first here at Toaster Central.

Toaster Central supplied a gorgeous 1930s commercial waffle iron for the new HBO series Mildred Pierce. I haven't seen it, but hear it appears in episode three at least.

One Sunday a fellow from Paris with a nifty video camera took some shots of Toaster Central and put them on You Tube, with music even! Merci Michel.

You can see a CAT scan of my Sunbeam egg cooker created by artist Satre Stuelke on his web site Radiology Art. He lives down the street while going to medical school at Cornell. I met him after an article about his work was in the NY Times.

Toaster Central was included in the October 2008 issue of Saveur Magazine, devoted to breakfast. Thanks to Paul Love.
